| 'Been there, done
that and decided that racing wasn’t for me
so I took myself of to train in sports and remedial
massage. I’d much rather be part of the support
crew these days but with a full squad to look after
and mostly all over 6 foot tall, I reckon I’m
going to be busy this year. A graduate of the London
School of Sports Massage with a rookie year behind
me will stand me in good stead for the season ahead.
During the races, I can be
found at the side of roads, in ditches or in the
middle of nowhere come all weather handing up
bottles of PSP, Go bars and gels to the riders.
Please let there be sun this year, I don’t
fancy doing aerobics on the top of the Screws
Climb during the Girvin again just to keep warm.
When not at the races, I can usually
be found somewhere up a mountain in North Wales
or very occasionally, out on my bike.'
