| The UK’s
leading sports nutrition company Science in Sport and Trek
UK, the world's foremost bike company are continuing to support
a unique multi discipline cycling team for 2008 that will
continue to compete in the National Road, Circuit-Race, Mountain
Bike and Cyclo Cross Series as well as the National Championships
in all disciplines.
The team has retained the majority of their 2007 riders including
Girvan winner Ian Wilkinson and National Under-23 MTB &
Cyclo-Cross Champion Ian Bibby, as well as Dave Collins, Richard
Kent and Science in Sport director Tim Lawson. Phil Dixon
will also continue his involvement with the team, as well
as adding to the team his Under-23 MTB Academy riders David
Fletcher (Bronze Junior Medal winner at the 2007 MTB World
Championships) and Ross Creber. Our other new addition is
Richard Wilkinson who will compete in both Road and Circuit
Races.

With sponsorship from a number of leading
brands the team will be using the best equipment and clothing
available on the market. Sponsorship has once again been received
from Impsport who will provide race and leisure
clothing and Giro who will provide helmets.
For 2008 the team has received generous sponsorship from a
number of new sponsors namely, Hope Technology
– Hope will provide Brake systems,
wheelsets, lighting and bike wash to the MTB riders &
Schwalbe – Schwalbe
will provide all tyres for both the on and off road riders.
The team’s objectives for the 2008 season
are to target specific races over the course of the season
both on & off road.
