Science in Sport and Trek have
once again choosen the Geoff Thomas Foundation as a
charity to support in 2008 and as such have dedicated
space on the team jersey to the foundation.
Geoff was diagnosed with chronic myleiod leukamia in
2003 but thanks to the amazing and dedicated medical
care and support he received he is still here today.
Whilst lying in his hospital bed he was inspired by
Lance Armstrong and has now ridden the Tour De France
twice raising funds for clinical research into Leukamia
and other cancers. Science in Sport and Trek have supported
Geoff and his new cycling career for several years now
and will continue to do so as he continues to raise
money to money to help those who are less fortunate
than he was.
